PROJECT LIFECYCLE and INNOVATION PROCESS

The technologies of the i-evAALution bundle are analyzed regarding their impact on the end-users’ quality of life, the possibility to integrate them into existing processes and their potential to contribute to a secure and independent living in an ageing society while providing adequate care and services.

i-evAALution use cases aim to support elderly persons in core areas of daily life to live autonomously and socially integrated. The i-evAALution bundle combines different assistance technologies already available on the market.

It is the goal to establish relevant services and distribute knowledge on how to successfully integrate useful, IT-based support for elderly persons’ daily living.

Older adults, who want to live at home independently but nonetheless need help.

INFORMAL SECONDARY END USER (i-SE)

Relatives or friends of the PEs.

SOLUTION PROVIDER (SP)

Companys with suitable products for the solution bundle.

FORMAL SECONDARY END-USER (f-SE)

Care organisations or similar which are in contact with PEs and SPs.

The planned i-evAALution bundle will be implemented for long-term evaluations in households in Austria, Italy, Slovenia and the Netherlands and will involve all relevant target groups. Thereby, the i-evAALution bundle helps to live a secure, healthy, active and meaningful life, reduces stress, improves the quality of life while enhancing the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the care given to the elderly people. This holistic approach, covering all the mentioned needs and target points concerning older adults, represents the unique selling proposition. Additionally, i-evAALution focuses on obtaining impacts on the user’s quality of life as well as gaining new insights regarding the iterative design, user acceptance, socio-economic viability, willingness to pay and business model validation for the AAL bundle.
